I've managed in the past the news updates of my wedding website, my kids' individual blogs, and facebook. But now I've decided it's time for my own train of thought and daily adventures to be written down for the pure enjoyment of the public.
This past week we have been in quarantine. Tristan had a high fever and now has broken out with a rash all over. Poor little guy. They say its just a viral infection (that he probably got from sunday school) that has to run its course, but it is contagious, so we are praying little Kira doesn't get it! He's been up all night the past 2 nights, but luckily Kira just slept right through it all ...
We've managed to find fun things to do in the house, like build forts with couch cushions, create a band with pots and pans and kitchen utensils, make coffee together, do laundry together, and watch The Wiggles over and over and over and over.
This morning we took a walk to the lake to feed the ducks and the birds and both Tristan and Kira loved it. Tristan also pointed out every drain, sprinkler, and landmark post as we walked around the lake. It's so cute seeing the things that fascinate him. As I am writing this, Tristan is trying to figure out how to take the doors off of his play kitchen and put them back on. And Kira is supposed to be napping, but I hear her singing and "baa-ing" like a sheep in her crib.
That's it for now, time to play. What a wonderful job I have!
